Ideas and concepts of MST

MST (Medisch Spectrum Twente) hospital had written a comprehensive report covering their website plans before we began our collaboration.

They wanted to communicate information in a very personal way, without avoiding the difficult subjects a hospital handles on a daily basis. The central theme in this approach is Nurse Anna. She acts as a virtual tour guide and introduces the subject matter discussed on each specific site.

Every department has its own site, used to present not only information about the department (such as visiting hours), but also information about the people working in the department. In this way, patients can get to know the staff before they arrive.

The website required a high-level of interactivity. Using forums, guest-books and a direct email option to Nurse Anna, the sites are a platform for questions and discussions and help patients overcome the hurdles they often face when confronted with health issues. Each website is maintained by the hospital staff as they know the most important information for patients to access when visiting the site.
