Implementing it all

An important part of implementing the MST ideas was to create a suitable design for the site. Lemon8 Design & development was approached for this task. They had proven their ability in past projects to translate general ideas and concepts into a useable website design.

One communication concept needing a personal feel was given form by using rotating photographs of various people in the header of the website. Each person has a text balloon beside them expressing a central point about the website.

Most of the MST ideas could be realized in WebHare right away. An exception was Nurse Anna. We developed a separate module for her role that integrates into the Publisher module. In this way, it is possible to add additional meta information (like a Nurse Anna introductory text) to any file in the WebHare system.

Using the standard WebPack module, many forums and guest-books are utilized, which can be easily maintained by the hospital staff itself.

Because the MST believes (as we do) that there is always room for improvement, the sites are consistently updated and revised. Many new recommendations have been executed to make their websites better and even more attractive.
