Pvdi (Party for the Information Society)
The Party for the Information Society (Partij voor de Informatiesamenleving) is an exclusively virtual party. They offer a platform to discuss the information society, innovation and ICT. They aim to keep politicians and policy makers sharp and focused.
As a front-runner when it comes to ICT, the Pvdi decided to maintain their primary communication medium - their website pvdi.nl - completely using the WebHare Application Portal.
The website invites the Pvdi members and other interested parties to join and offer ideas on how to handle social problems involving the 3 I's (information, innovation and ICT). The Pvdi members can vote on proposed ideas and amendments, using WebHare's WebPack module. This interactively determined political program is also used as a source-site for new ideas.
This project was developed by one of our WebHare partners, Siteseeing Internet Services.
