CD-ROM production using WebHare - annual report 2002/2003

In the past, the University of Twente was awarded the F.G. Kordes-Trophy for best annual report by a public organization (2000) and for best annual report by an education and research institute (2001).

In 2002, the University decided to add a new twist to their annual report. They used the WebHare Application Portal to create something new: a CD-ROM based website report. Due to WebHare's unique Microsoft® Word to HTML conversion engine, it proved to be the perfect tool to create and present the annual report in a multi-media format, including: photographs, diagrams, tables and even film clips.

The report used the new @campus design and was released on a credit card-sized CD-ROM. Soon after, it was voted "best practice use of the internet."

WebHare is not only invaluable as a content management system, but because of its exclusive qualities, has also proven to be an exceptional tool for other uses.
