The fundamental difference
The fundamental difference between WebHare and other content management systems is that WebHare has been developed specifically with the end-user in mind.
In WebHare, the technology is dedicated to the user, not the other way around. Two obvious representations of this philosophy are the user interface design and our choice to use Microsoft® Word documents as the foundation for the WebHare system.
Not many people have time to learn yet another web-based Word look-a-like program, how to correct layout issues or techniques to embed basic images into a web page. Most users only want to update their content on the Internet. And because their content is generally created in Microsoft® Word, there really isn’t a need for anything else. In WebHare, the technical processes are hidden to the end-user.
When designing the WebHare graphical user interface, we kept the 80/20 standard in mind: 80% of users utilize only 20% of the options.
Simplicity has always been key in everything we do. In WebHare, the most important tasks are continuously available in simple and unobtrusive screens presenting only useful options for the task at hand.
You can see this for yourself in our online demonstration.
WebHare offers the same, cutting edge features as other website management systems. We just won’t bother normal end-users with unnecessary options or deter them with all sorts of technical processes. Computers use technology, people shouldn’t have to.
