Microsoft® Word to HTML conversion

WebHare converts Microsoft® Word documents to HTML pages using our exceptional conversion engine developed in-house. This conversion engine is unique and does not use the standard Microsoft® Word to HTML conversion components.

The WebHare conversion engine is faster, more powerful and more flexible. We completely customize the way we convert documents and offer our conversion engine on both Windows and Linux/Unix platforms.

The WebHare conversion engine analyzes your Microsoft® Word documents and splits these into separate parts. All elements in your documents, e.g., paragraphs, tables, images and hyperlinks, are transformed into separate objects. The properties of these objects may then be used during publication of your documents.

WebHare offers a straightforward conversion of your Microsoft® Word documents to web pages, just like Microsoft® Word itself can. The difference is that when you use WebHare, you tell the conversion engine to apply your own predefined layout to the converted documents. This ensures a uniform and consistent look and feel for your website without requiring you to manually preprocess each and every document to match the required design and layout.

From Word to Web

Additionally, WebHare can automate the creation of menus in your website. This guarantees that all the right links are in their proper place and point to a valid location. WebHare also links the various documents and files on your website together. Whenever a document is added, modified or removed, WebHare will immediately republish the relevant hyperlinks, eliminating "dead links."

The web pages created by WebHare can be made available on the World Wide Web using the built-in WebHare webserver, or by any other third-party webserver, such as Apache and Microsoft IIS. Indubitably, all published pages are 100% technically valid.
