The Consilio search engine

Consilio is a search engine module that can be completely integrated into WebHare A.P. Consilio references all the information on your site and makes it easily searchable.

Easy to use

By defining specific 'catalogs', designated areas of your site may be investigated simultaneously or individually. For example, one catalogue may be assigned to your intranet and a different one for your extranet.

To make all, one, or part of a site searchable, you assign the site to a catalog. The site will now be indexed, after which the catalog can be searched.

Your information is immediately available

Many sites have a third-party search engine enhancing their website. However, when new information is added, they must wait until their site is visited by an indexing robot from an external search engine before the new information is available in their search engine. Because Consilio is wholly integrated into WebHare A.P., it responds directly when you add or republish a document. The newly published information is instantly available in your search engine.

Get search results the way you want them

You could have a long list with URL's or different pages with relevant documents or not. With Consilio you have complete control over the format and presentation of your search results.

For example, on the WebHare Support Site, we have chosen to restrict the number of results from the same manual or function library and instead offer these as extra 'related results'.

Aside from the WebHare Support Site, Consilio is also currently used for our sites www.b-lex.nl and www.b-lex.com. Many of our customers, including the University of Twente, have shown significant interest in our newest WebHare A.P. module.
