Graphics module
A standard component of WebHare is the Graphics module. This module offers features to automate the design of graphical elements in your websites.
Many sites use menus consisting of images. Oftentimes, these images change when the mouse pointer moves over them. Creating menu images takes a lot of time and effort. This frequently results in the site structure adapting to available images, instead of the other way around.
Using the Graphics module, creation of menu images can be fully automated. You type in a folder or file title and WebHare automatically creates one or more menu buttons based on these titles. To change the menu, just change the title and WebHare will change the buttons accordingly.

And the Graphics module can do much more… Have you ever attempted to create a photo gallery for your site? If you have, you know the effort it takes to produce thumbnail images of your photos, create well-planned overviews and maintain links between all the image pages.
This can all be automated! The only thing you need to do is upload your digital photos to a WebHare site. Then, WebHare will automatically create thumbnails, distribute these over multiple thumbnail pages and create a slideshow and working hyperlinks between the image pages. You can also alter specific settings, like the number of thumbnails on a page and the dimensions of the thumbnails and the enlarged photos, etc.
In WebHare, you can control all graphical element development, like:
· |
Create menu buttons and photo galleries automatically |
· |
Set the maximum width of an image from a Microsoft® Word document, thus preventing your design being stretched and mutated |
· |
Set the background color of images from Microsoft® Word documents, so they will look better in your site's design |
· |
Reduce the number of colors in an image to improve loading speed. |
