Publication Module

The Publication module is the most renowned component of the WebHare Application Portal system and contains the content management functions.

At the heart of this module lies the unique Microsoft® Word document conversion engine, with which you can create and maintain sites using only Microsoft® Word documents.

The file manager screen

In the Publication module's central file manager screen, creating new folders will act as new sections in your site.

Once you upload Microsoft® Word documents into the folders you created, WebHare automatically converts them into the content of your site.

You can also add other file types like HTML, Flash animation, Java applets, etc. to your site using the file manager screen.

Meta information

You can enter meta information such as a title, description or keywords for every file and folder. This data is used by WebHare to automatically create navigational elements like menu's, breadcrumb trails and sitemaps.

”The proof of the pudding is in the eating,” so we invite you to see the Publication module in action for yourself.

Module integration

The Publication module is designed to work in conjunction with the WebPack and WebShop modules. This ensures that you can manage not only the content, but also many dynamic elements such as polls, forums and forms in the same user-friendly way.
