Microsoft® Word conversion expertise
During the WebHare development process, we learned a lot about the internal workings of Microsoft® Word. Our products do not use any Microsoft components for the conversion of Microsoft® Word documents. We have developed our own understanding of the Microsoft® Word file format, independent of Microsoft. We based the conversion software embedded into WebHare CMS and WebHare Lite on this understanding.
We also use this knowledge to assist with special projects involving many large or complex documents. At your request, we can advise and support you with such projects, supply (partial) solutions in WebHare or offer (conversion) components that can be integrated into existing systems.
We have used our expertise in the past to support many projects, including:

Bulk conversion of large amounts of Microsoft® Word documents, filling a database of example exams, book reports, etc. |

Gathering, indexing and categorizing documents based on their title, subject, author and other properties and content for integration into indexing and search systems. |

Automated analysis of the structure of very large Microsoft® Word documents (over 3000 pages) and suggesting improvements in their internal paragraph structure. |

Analysis of large amounts of Microsoft® Word documents and recombining parts of the documents to create searchable indexes. |
